Attack add Burroughs with 29th Overall Pick in OHL Priority Selection

The Owen Sound Attack selected forward Ethan Burroughs with their 2nd round pick, 29th overall in the OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore.

The 5’9 forward from the Halton Hurricanes scored 30 goals in 32 games this past season. Attack Director of Player Development Sean LaFortune had praise for the pick: “Ethan is a high velocity shooter, plays a heavy game but relies on his skill and sense in the offensive zone.”

The OHL Draft Media Guide had further comments: “Ethan is a goal scoring right winger that doesn’t need a lot of time or space to find the back of the net. He has deceiving speed that he uses to beat defenders wide and is also quick off the mark which allows him to jump to open holes quickly. He has a good shot with a lightning-quick release and pinpoint accuracy. Ethan has a high hockey sense as he knows where to be and the puck seems to follow him around the ice.”

Owen Sound’s next selection is the 42nd overall pick.

This season of Attack hockey is presented by Lerner’s Personal Injury Lawyers.
