Attack Shutout by Knights

The Owen Sound Attack fell victim to the London Knights tonight by a score of 3-0 in front of almost 3400 at the Bayshore.

The Toronto Maple Leafs Blue Crew was on hand tonight to entertain packed Bayshore with the Great Canadian Goalie Race during the 1st Intermission and the t-shirt toss throughout the game.

The Knights hit the scoreboard in the second period when Seth Griffith potted his 19th of the season, ending Jordan Binnington`s shutout streak at just over 213 minutes.

Chris Tierney would score again for the Knights, his 5th of the season to make it 2-0 on a shot through Chris Bigras and eventually, Jordan Binnington.

The Attack would be unable to buy a bounce in this one as they just couldn’t hit their stride offensively.

Matt Rupert added one late and the Knights skated away with a 3-0 win.

The Centennial Windows Three Stars of the Game were:

3) Jake Patterson 21SV

2) Jordan Binnington 37SV

1) Seth Griffith GWG

The Attack is back in action on Sunday when they travel to Mississauga to take on the Steelheads.

Game time on Sunday is 2:00pm.
