Attack take 6’5 forward Kaleb Lawrence in 2nd Round

The Owen Sound Attack are pleased to select forward Kaleb Lawrence with the 42nd overall pick in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore.

The 6’5 Centre scored 26 goals in 43 games this season with the OHA Maverick Maroons MAAA.

Attack Ottawa Area scout Chris Cameron thinks the big forward has big potential: “A rangy, possession player with strong playmaking abilities. Really high hockey sense.”

Sean Del Giallo of HockeyProspect.com writes “Lawrence is skilled, big centreman with a heavy shot who uses his size and skill to generate offense on the rush and in tight around the net.”

Mitchell Avis of HockeyProspect.com says “BIG (6’5″) with a good skillset. Skating has steadily improved throughout the season. High upside with this kid, especially as he fills out his frame.”

Attack fans can follow live coverage on TwitterFacebook and Instagram. Full selection results can be found here.

This season of Attack hockey is presented by Lerner’s Personal Injury Lawyers.
