The Owen Sound Attack announced Thursday that the team has traded defenceman Cole Cameron to the North Bay Battalion in exchange for a 4th round draft pick in 2019.

“He is such a super guy, reliable and very detailed on and off the ice,” said Attack GM Dale DeGray of Cameron.

“These are always the tough decisions, but North Bay is getting a player they will be glad to have on the bench, and Cole’s teammates in Owen Sound will miss him.”

Cameron was a drafted 44th overall by the Brockville Braves in the 2013 CCHL Draft.

The 20-year-old defenceman played with the Attack for the past two seasons, with 10 assists in the 2017-18 season and 28 penalty minutes.
