Attack well represented at Gold Cup

The 2018 OHL Gold Cup gets underway on Thursday, May 3 in Kitchener with five Owen Sound Attack prospects set to skate in the All-Star Tournament that is part of the Hockey Canada selection process.

Headlined by Attack 1st Round Pick Nolan Seed, Owen Sound will also see Josh Barnes, Marco Latassa, Brody Waters, and Nathan Small represent their minor hockey organizations in the eight team tournament.

Seed and Barnes will both skate for Team Hockey Eastern Ontario, with Latassa suiting up for Team OMHA White, Waters hitting the ice for Team OMHA Black, and Small representing Team Alliance.

The first game of the tournament will see Latassa and OMHA White square off against Team GTHL Blue at 1:30pm. A full schedule of the tournament, including statistical breakdowns, can be found HERE.

All five of Owen Sound’s representatives at the Gold Cup will be on hand at the team’s 2018 Awards BBQ, where fans will have the chance to meet the newest wave of Attack stars while also mingling with graduating and returning players.

Tickets for the BBQ, which will take place at the Bayshore on Sunday, June 3, are $15 for an adult and $10 for a child. More information on the event can be found HERE.
