Attack Announce 2022-23 Season Schedule

The Owen Sound Attack have released their season schedule for the 2022-23 Ontario Hockey League season.

After covid altered the regular scheduling for the OHL during the 2021-22 season, the league is back to normal, as the Attack are set to welcome back matchups against their Eastern Conference competitors. Along with resuming a regular schedule, the Attack are excited for a full season without restrictions on attendance, as the young Bears roster looks to bring a roar of excitement back to the Bayshore!

Key Match-ups:

Friday, Sept. 30 @ London – For the second straight season the Attack open their season at Budweiser Gardens, as they battle against the division rival Knights.

Saturday, Oct. 1 vs Kitchener – The Attack will welcome another division rival for the home opener, as the Rangers make their first of four visits on the season.

Friday, Oct. 7 vs Hamilton (7:30 pm) – The Bears first challenge out of the Eastern Conference is the defending 2022 J. Ross Robertson Cup Champions in the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Saturday, February 11 vs Flint – The Firebirds first visit to the Bayshore after the teams first round playoff series last year.

Saturday, February 18 vs Saginaw – It’s the first visit to the Bayshore for the 1st overall selection in 2022, and exceptional status, Michael Misa, as well as the first meeting of Misa and Attack first rounder Ben Cormier.

Tuesday, March 21 vs Sarnia – The Attack’s final home game of the regular season has them taking on former bench boss in Al Letang and his Sarnia Sting.

Attack fans will notice the inclusion of a few Friday and Tuesday night home games this season. Start times for these games are 7:30 PM on Friday nights, with Tuesday night home game puck drop at 7 PM.

The Attack are also pleased to welcome back the “skate with the team” after all Sunday home games this season. This offers fans, particularly young fans, a chance to skate with and interact with the Attack players on the Bayshore ice after every home game on Sunday’s.

Season ticket holders are reminded that their deadline for ticket renewal is August 26, with all single game tickets going on sale Tuesday, Sept. 6.
