Six Attack Players on Loan to European Clubs

While we patiently wait for our return to the ice, our players have been training hard in every way allowable within the provincial guidelines.  For six Owen Sound Attack players, they have taken the opportunity to hit the ice with clubs in Europe through loan agreements that will see five of the six return to the Attack once a season start is determined.

Among the six players playing in Europe, a trio of Attack defencemen are in Slovakia including Andrew Perrott and Carter Robertson who have just been joined by Mark Woolley.  Perrott and Woolley play for HK Martin and HC Humenne respectively in the 1.Liga, while Robertson is playing for MHK 32 Lipotusky in the Extraliga.

A fourth Attack Defensemen, Igor Chibrikov, is on loan with HK Traktor in Russia and playing in the MHL with Belye Medvedi Chelyabinsk.

A duo of Attack forwards are playing at home in Europe with Stepan Machacek playing for HC Frydek-Mistek in the Czech2 league in the Czech Republic and Josh Samanski on loan to the Ravensburg Towerstars in the DEL-2 league in Germany.  Machacek is expected to remain with his team in the Czech Republic for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.
