Attack Statemen Regarding Artur Gavrus

The Owen Sound Attack organizational policy is not to comment on public speculation regarding player’s and their status with the club, however; in the best interest of the player, the organization wishes to make the following statement regarding Artur Gavrus.

Despite the very best efforts by the Owen Sound Attack organization, Import forward Artur Gavrus will not not be in the Attack lineup for the start of the 2012/2013 Ontario Hockey League Season.

All correct transfer agreements and paperwork has been filed with both immigration and the IIHF, however; circumstances beyond the control of the Owen Sound Attack and Artur Gavrus has lead to the delay in Artur’s arrival.

It should be known that Artur Gavrus, his agent and family all believe it is in Artur’s best interest to continue his Junior Career in Owen Sound and that Artur very much wants to be apart of the Attack for the upcoming Ontario Hockey League Season.

The Attack will make no further comments regarding Artur until the matter is resolved.
