Grey Bruce Hospice and Attack Launch In-Honour Jersey Commemoration Sale

The Attack and Grey Bruce Hospice (Chapman House) are happy to announce an opportunity for fans and community members to commemorate the name of a loved one, friend, or relative on our ‘Hockey for Hospice’ jerseys which will be worn Saturday, February 18th when the Attack play the Saginaw Spirit.

Fans can choose between two options to have the name of their choice added to these special game night themed jerseys. For $200 you can pre-order a replica Hockey for Hospice jersey customized with name, number, and an option for ‘C’ or ‘A’ on the front. Similar to our traditional customization this provides fans with a fully personalized Hockey for Hospice jersey they can rock or display as they cheer on the Attack against the Spirit.

And in a brand-new offering you can choose to pay a one-time cost of $50 to have the name of a loved one displayed on every game issued, replica, and game worn Hockey for Hospice jersey. Names will be displayed in off-tone colour lettering prominently at minimum twice on each and every Hockey for Hospice jersey so that the Attack, other fans, and you can skate, don, and proudly highlight the lives and legacies of loved ones who leave a lasting impact in Grey Bruce. The number of spots available for this one-of-a-kind commemoration is limited to the first 100 names due to the size and importance of each and every name, with a deadline for this opportunity limited to before Saturday December 17th.

“We at the Attack have never offered an opportunity like this to our fans for a charity game night.” Said Evan Longland, Coordinator of Community Relations with the Attack, “With the Grey Bruce Hospice as our partner we feel this is an incredible way for fans to honour their loved one, and to have a special connection to the Attack players and community that attend on February 18th. All proceeds from this fundraiser as well donations on game night will help the Grey Bruce Hospice continue their amazing work and continue to provide cost free care for those that need a place of comfort to finish living.”

Janet Fairbridge, Executive Director of Grey Bruce Hospice shared, “We at Grey Bruce Hospice and Chapman House are very grateful to the Attack for hosting “Hockey for Hospice”. We are very excited to join our community at the Bayshore on February 18th to cheer on our hometown team and raise funds to support our friends and neighbours in Grey and Bruce when they need us most.”

Those interested in purchasing a customized replica jersey or paying for the in-honour name commemoration can do so on our store website here. Tickets for our Hockey for Hospice charity game night are available online and at the MacVicar and McComb Sutton Realty Attack Box Office.
