The Weekend Preview is brought to you by Joe Tomato’s Restaurant, located at the Galaxy Centre in Springmount. Bring your ticket after every Attack home game for half priced wings and appetizers.

This weekend the Attack are on the road for a pair of games in Barrie and Guelph on Thursday and Friday, and then return to the Bayshore on Saturday night for a match up with the struggling Kingston Frontenacs.

Thursday night the Attack head to Barrie for their third game against the Colts this season. In the last meeting, the Colts came away with a 3-2 win getting revenge for their 10-0 loss at the hands of the Attack back in September. Currently the Colts are sitting in second in the Central division with a record of 10-6-0-1 giving them 21 points, leading the Colts in scoring is 2nd year forward Tyson Foerster with 27 points, good for 10th in the league.

In the second game of the 3 game stretch the Bears are in Guelph for an important Midwest division game against the Storm. The defending OHL champions have been hot in the last couple of weeks and are currently on a 6-0-0-0 streak winning in 7 of their last 10 games. Montreal Canadiens prospect and Storm captain Cam Hillis was recently named OHL’s ‘On The Run’ Player of the Week after putting up 7 points in 2 games. The Attack and Storm have split their only two match ups so far this season with a win each.

To end the busy weekend the Attack are back home at the Bayshore for a game against a young Frontenacs team. Shane Wright will be in Owen Sound for the first time since being granted exceptional player status by the CHL and being taken first overall by the Frontenacs. Wright is only the sixth player in the history of the CHL to be granted the exceptional player status, and the first since Sean Day. Wright has 11 points in 14 games thus far.

The Attack look to build off of Mack Guzda’s strong performance the past week, stopping 89 shots in 2 games and an impressive 50 save shootout win against Erie on Sunday.

Tickets are still available for Saturday night at the MacVicar & McComb Sutton Realty Attack Box Office and online.
