The Owen Sound Attack are proud to announce that the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation has raised $7429.69 in partnership with Lerner’s Personal Injury Lawyers through the Warm-Up Jersey Auction.
The funds raised will go directly to the Intensive Care Unit at the Owen Sound Hospital. Lerner’s Personal Injury graciously donated the jerseys to be sold at the end of the season through a silent auction at Attack home games.
Amy McKinnon, Executive Director of the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation thanks the fans for their support: “The Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation was thrilled to partner with Lerners and the OS Attack for the second year. The silent auction of the player’s warm-up jerseys raised funds for a specialized bed for the ICU at the regional hospital. Thank you to the fans for bidding on the jerseys.”
Present at the cheque presentation were:
Martha Richards – Director of Medicine & Oncology, Grey Bruce Health Services
Greg Willson – Lawyer, Lerner’s Personal Injury
Amy McKinnon – Executive Director, Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation
Allan Gibbons – Coordinator of Communications & Community Relations, Owen Sound Attack
Gibbons says: ‘We’re very happy to be able to help support our local health services, and we look forward to continuing this with Amy and the Foundation in upcoming seasons. Lerners has been a wonderful partner and we appreciate everything they’ve done for us and the community.”
The Owen Sound Attack will once again be auctioning off their warmup jerseys in support of the Hospital Foundation in the 2019-20 OHL season.
