Owen Sound Attack Mourn the Loss of Bernice Ruhl

The Owen Sound Attack were deeply saddened upon receiving news of the passing of long-time media room hostess Bernice Ruhl.
Having greeted media, scouts, hockey operations and game day staff with a smile and cup of coffee for over 20 years, Bernice’s warm presence at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre will be missed league-wide. Prior to running the media room for the Attack, Bernice ran the Bayshore concessions for the City of Owen Sound.
A familiar face around town, Bernice was named the City’s Volunteer and Senior of the Year in 2014. The Attack send our deepest condolences and prayers to her friends, family and loved ones.
The Attack organization is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Bernice Ruhl.
Bernice made a massive impact on hockey in Owen Sound, running our media room for 20+ years and concessions at the Bayshore prior to that.
We’ll miss your smile and your stories, Bernice. pic.twitter.com/YIx5v5XqIO

Bernice was a consistent face at the Bayshore. Always smiling and knew and remembered everyone. Such a sweet person.
