The Attack Look to Push Up the Standings in the Last Week of the Regular Season

With the playoffs just around the corner the Attack look to make a move up the Western Conference Standing. Owen Sound is Currently tied for 7th with the Kitchener Rangers and has a game in hand on them and are only 4 points behind the Flint Firebirds for 5th with two games in hand on them. The Bares will play their last four games of the regular season this week and if they finish strong, they could see themselves as high as 5th place setting up a battle with the Saginaw Spirit in the First round of the Playoffs.

The week kicks off with a Tuesday match up with the Sarina Sting as they make the trip to the Bayshore. The Bares and Sting met twice early in the season with each team getting a win. It will be a battle as both teams are looking to move up in the standings, Owen Sound chasing Flint for 5th and Sarina looking to gain ground on the London Knights for 2nd in the Western Conference.

Then the Attack head out for their final road trip of the season. Their first stop is Sarina on Friday to faceoff with the Sting for the second game between them this week. The last time the Bares were in Sarina was in October and they lost 3-2. they will be looking for a better result as they will looking to earn a big two points and continue to move up the standing in the West.

After the game in Sarina, Owen Sound will head across the border to match up with the Flint Firebirds. This season Owen Sound lost the first two games against Flint but in the most resent game at home last Wednesday the Bares battled to a 4-3 win. They will be looking to keep the momentum and get the win to even up the season series, and with a win the hopefully jump over them for 5th in the Westen Conference.

The Attack will finish up the road trip and regular season as the head to Saginaw to battle with the Spirit. These two teams have only met one other time this season as the Bares lost 3-2 at the Bayshore. The game could be huge for the Attack as they will be looking to head into the playoff on a winning note. This game could be a preview to a first-round match up if Owen Sound could get into 5th spot in the Western Conference.

As always fans can catch all the Attack action on Rogers TV Grey County or stream it live on CHL TV, while on Friday night in Barrie fans can also listen to 560 CFOS Bear Radio.
