Ethan Burroughs Named Attack Player of the Week

Forward Ethan Burroughs has been named the Attack Player of the Week to begin the season.

The Georgetown, ON native registered a 4 point opening weekend, with 1 goal and 3 assists through Owen Sound’s two games. Burroughs opened the weekend with a pair of assists in London no the Friday night, in what turned into a 5-3 Attack win in the season opener. The right winger, then opened the Attack’s scoring Saturday night in their home opener, as he deflected a Kaleb Lawrence point shot. Burroughs then added his third assist, and fourth point of the weekend, with an assist on┬áCedrick Guindon’s power play goal.

Along with the 4 points, Burroughs was an energy bug on the ice, as the assistant captain led by example with a hard and tenacious forecheck in each game. Though on the smaller side, Burroughs was engaged and ready for every puck battle, as the 19 year old veteran was a key factor in his team starting the season 2-0!
