Mack Guzda Earns ‘Huron Tractor Attacker of the Week’ Honours

Mack Guzda has earned the Attacker of the Week Award from Huron Tractor for Week 8 of the OHL season.

The 18-year-old goaltender from Tennessee stopped 89 of 94 shots this past weekend, good for a .947 save percentage in games against the London Knights and Erie Otters. Guzda earned first star honours for his performance on Sunday afternoon, making 50 saves and two more in the shootout to secure the win for the Attack.

This is Guzda’s second time earning the Huron Tractor Attacker of the Week honours this season. In 14 games this year, Guzda is 8-4-1-1 with a .915 save percentage and a 2.80 goals against average.

Guzda and the Attack are back in action this Thursday against the Colts in Barrie. They continue on the road to meet the Storm on Friday night in Guelph, and return home for a Saturday night at the Bayshore against the Kingston Frontenacs.
